After just a shade under 6 months of development time, MySongCast has finally launched. MySongCast is a community website focused on music – bringing together artists, fans and venues. I must admit I’m very pleased to see it all working well so far. After just over two weeks we’ve already got over 70 bands signed up, from the US, Australia, Denmark and handful of other countries too. You’ll probably be able to guess most of the technology used within the site if you read through the (non-mushroom) related posts in this blog. I’ve been able to re-use quite a few of the code snippets described within, such as a modified version of the digital clock script for the competition page, and the DHTML tree view code for an in-house mail client (you’ll have to create an account on MySongCast to see this).
